Dark envelops the land
Reaching across the plains like the paws of a hungry beast
None think it a creature appropriate for any creature,
And yet, a pair of raccoons appeared as if out of nowhere
The larger one rubs its head, it clearly denies the authority of the smaller raccoon
The smaller raccoon grabs its tail and starts dashing through a yard, the big one follows with haste
An old hound, his lordship over the home usurped by his age, wastes away inside a moist and cramping house, a crude and tiny structure
